Triangle of health

In 1895, Dr. D.D. Palmer, the pioneer of chiropractic practice, established that the recurrence of trauma, or micro-trauma, within any of the body’s three governing systems—namely, structure, biochemistry, and psyche—can contribute to the development of dis-ease.

Achieving optimal health relies on finding equilibrium among these three factors, often visualized as a “health triangle.” Any disruption that impacts one facet of this triangle invariably ripples into the others. Consequently, rectifying a structural disorder not only addresses physical concerns but also yields positive effects on emotional and metabolic well-being.

Human body has what is called the innate intelligence. Innate intelligence allows our body to heal naturally by self governing, and communicating throughout the body. When vertebral interference occurs, it interferes with communications of the nervous system. Vertebral interference occurs due to physical trauma, toxicity, and sometimes even mental trauma. Spine gets crooked or when it gets out of alignment, the nervous system cannot communicate efficiently. Chiropractic adjustments help restore motion of the spine so that the nervous system can communicate, self govern, and restore balance to the body. Chiropractic adjustment will give HVLA (high velocity low amplitude) thrust. This will re-align the crooked vertebrae and the body will correct itself naturally. Nervous system is important and is housed in the skull and spine. During the treatment, popping or cracking sounds may happen.  This happens because there is a built up pressure in the joint and is being released. The sound is normal and should not be worried. At Health and Balance Chiropractic, We treat the root of the problem.
